Thank you Brendagh and Alan for taking such great care of Lexi for me when I go away. I was so nervous about leaving her in a kennel for the first time as I had never left her anywhere before other than with one of my family. The care and kindness you show Lexi is second to none. She is so happy when she sees you at the gate and is always in great form when I collect her. I would highly recommend your boarding services to anyone with a dog or even a cat as the cattery looks fabulous. The space they have is excellent and the kennel area is spotless. I love that I can get Lexi washed or cut before I return from holidays to collect her and her haircuts are always gorgeous. I love the fact I know I can text or e mail when I'm away to see how Lexi is doing. Such a wonderful service at extremely reasonable cost and the added touches to know you genuinely care for the pets is by far the best peace of mind any pet owner could have when they go away. Thanks again for everything, no question the best kennel and grooming service in Dublin.

I would highly recommend Westcity Kennels & Cattery, I have left my pets before with different kennels/catterys around Dublin and I cant say enough about Westcity . I have two pedigree cats they are Egyptian Mau's a very intelligent timid breed. I have to be extremely careful with who takes care of them. I went to meet the lovely Brendagh and look around the peaceful cattery and decided this was the place for them. On picking them up they are normally a little stressed but hand on heart they returned home after a week perfectly happy. I also have a bichon who is a little shy who also stayed the week. Brendagh and her family have years of experience with cats/dogs and she returned home calm and very well behaved and completely relaxed.

Ferdia attends Doggy Day care in Westcity Kennels since Oct 2011, it’s the perfect solution to the working owner. He toddles off so happy every morning to be cared for and exercised by Alan & Brendagh. The service provided to Ferdia is just great,, he won’t even look back at me in the mornings. Full grooming is also available on request, so Saturdays are free for rambles. Excellent facility .

Alan and Brendagh have provided a home away from home for our lovely dog Sasha for the past twelve years. We now know that we will never have to worry when we leave our darling Duffy in their care. Duffy is a fundraising dog for a very special children’s charity and needs to follow particular commands and training. Alan and Brendagh have always been more then happy to learn the commands and follow his routine. Thanks Alan and Brendagh for all you do and all you have done for our furry babies. Clondalkin Animal Aid

Clondalkin Animal Aid is a non-profit organisation whose volunteers work hard to give rescue dogs and cats a better life. We do not have premises to hold any rescue animals and rely on fosterers to take in unwanted pets. Due to a continuous shortage of temporary homes we have come to rely more and more on West City Kennels to help us with the overflow. We have been using these kennels for many years now (15+) and have always found our animals are well treated, fed and exercised when needed. The kennels are very well run and the owners are more than willing to help out at short notice. We would have no hesitation in recommending their use.
